I've made this exact argument in other threads regarding the 6.2 and someone's cheap shot at anything other than a diesel. I told them to check out the 6.2 forum... Pretty boooring! It's a great problem to have.

^True story and gave me a good chuckle^

I have had mine since September. Runs great so far. Took a week or two to get used to the 12mpg of the truck. Although I think the bank is still recovering from that.

Let's be clear, Ed's motor didn't blow up. He wore a lob down on the camshaft. Who knows how many more miles that motor would have gone with a repair that would cost much less less than many diesel repairs.

so true,,
based on the photo's Flatbed Ed provided..... camshaft failure... so it did not have a major failure...

I'll bite. I wish I had 4.30s in all my 6.2s.Especially the 1 with the 275 70 18s.4.30s make it a different truck.

Cleaned my truck this evening. Seeing all the dust in the vents really annoys me because of how good the 2016 style were.

Wishing I had the diesel motor weight while I was driving over my cold patch repair! So far the only time I wished for the diesel!

We could always try to figure out the best color for a 6.2. Everyone knows Red is the fastest color, but does it haul the most?

Clearly any version of white hauls the most! Why else are all the work trucks white?!

Red may be the fastest, and white may haul the most, but we all know grey is the coolest

With 850 miles on the odo I finally got to hook up the boat and head to the river for the first time. Boat isn't that big at 5500lbs but the truck towed it effortlessly. I think it did a bit better than my 2000 but I believe it's the tranny and gearing. It lacks no power and for what I do it's a great set up. I'm very happy and looking forward to many years of service and easy maintenance out of this truck.
