0BD1 Code Interpretation?

Yes, I saw that, I was referring to you as Sherlock...... good catch, but the other lads we on to him as well.
Another assumption that an OP knew what he was doing. (But it took me 6 or more tries before I got it right the first time)
Also why I keep pushing the start to finish code checking process below;
Engines are easier to diagnose over the internet when all the codes are listed, and in order of test.
KOEO - (O) Self-Test Codes =
KOEO - (C) Continuous Codes =
KOER - (R) Self-Test Codes =
There was another guy today that stated, "no codes", unless the computer is trashed, this is never true. KOEO give you at the minimum a separator code "10" and a pass code. KOER gives you the # cyl, and WOT "10" code and a pass code...

Well it's hard to know, I would suggest he run both test and document his results. He should list all the codes extracted, to include all separator codes & Cyl #s and pass codes.
565 is a KOEO Code & 122 Can be O, C, or R...... We need to know....
If KOEO Codes are not resolved, KOER Codes may be invalid.

What is your build date ?
Assuming he has a stock system, it would not surprise me if a 94 has 2 digit codes.
He might have an early build date as well.
Code # 12 – Cannot control rpm during high rpm test
This could be many things; Air Bypass, TPS….. Vacuum leaks…
Never hurts to clean up the Air Bypass like Sandy describes
Code # 25 –(KOER code) Did you perform the WOT procedure after the Code # 10 appeared?
Code # 65 was used for a multitude of applications.
Do you have an E4OD? Overdrive Cancel Switch?
((R) E4OD truck - cycle OD cancel switch after engine ID is received – Transmissions)
Do this switch toggle immediately after the Cyl Code “8” appears.
Seems he ran a KOER Test (was your engine running?)
Can be a 2 or 3 digit code depending on model, build date & configuration
2 Digit – Thru 93’
3 Digit - Starting at 90’

I only ran KOEO self test.
I will run others tomorrow.
Thanks again for the assistance.

OK, new day, clear head.
KOEO returns 122 and 565
KOER returns 998 and 122
Sorry to all for the invalid information in my first post.
FWIW, I took video of both tests if that will help, but I'm fairly confident that I got it right this time.
Headed out to mow, will check back in a couple hours.
Thanks for you patience with a noob and for your assistance!

It is sometimes recommended to work the KOEO lowers number first, so I would start with TPS measurements.
This may help;

Your colors are different;
94’ 5.8L
1 = Grey/Red
2= Grey/White
3= Brown/White

KOEO DTC 122 indicates the Throttle Position (TP) sensor signal is less than the Self-Test minimum value.
Possible causes:
-- TP sensor may not be seated properly (tightened down).
-- Damaged TP sensor.
-- Open harness.
-- Grounded harness.
-- Damaged Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
KOEO DTC 565 indicates a failure in the CANP solenoid circuit.
Possible causes:
-- Open harness (VPWR or CANP).
-- Damaged CANP solenoid.
-- Shorted (power to ground) harness.
-- Damaged Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
KOER 122, not a KOER code.
There is a CM code of 122 however.

Update
Between what you guys pointed me to and what I've read on the interwebz, I was poking around looking for the connector for the TPS and locating the canister purge solenoid and happened upon some vacuum hose in well past serviceable state. (the one going from v. canister to the solenoid) so quick run to the parts store and replaced the offending vacuum hose. Started her up and voila, no more CEL and a 15 mile drive and she is operating as I would hope.
KOEO test now gives a 121 and a 128.
Done for the day.
Thanks all for your assistance.

Final Update
OK, since I know you guys are losing sleep wondering how this turns out, I'll let you know.
So the CEL light came back on shortly after I celebrated fixing the problem by replacing the vacuum hose I mentioned earlier.
Long story short, I replaced the canister purge solenoid (565) and the TPS (122). CEL out, all codes cleared. KOEO test returns 111.
Thanks all for your help.

oh, didn't know that, probably took me 6 weeks to figure it out.
Although I like to go back to the first post to see if we are on the right track, I don't like going back for the year, model, engine, etc.
When I search for stuff, the search takes you to the first post, then I go to the last post for a resolution, if none ,I move on.
