05 with 195000 miles Started smoking on me the other day taking off at a red light I would say it is white smoke smells like burnt oil has egr delete new injectors from ford about 2000 miles ago new oil cooler dummy plugs ipr valve and cleaned turbo about 300 miles ago I'm getting no codes just pulled down pipe off and it is bone dry put fuel gauge on it shows 62 psi at wot I'm stumped at this point not loosing coolant checked the oil level and it is on the full but I will keep an eye on it any ideas
He brought it in thinking it had bad compression, after pulling codes #7 showed as bad. After replacing the offending injector, up pipes, and rebuilding the turbo, he was back on the road without issue.
The only codes I have are egr related because of the delete. I have a friends matco scanner and was watching injectors on live feed and none look any worse then the other
a little update took the truck to the ford dealer last Friday told them the story and he said it couldn't be an injector he has never seen one do what mine was doing. So went home that night and changed the oil looked up at drivers side exhaust manifold and found that #8 was dripping fuel out of it. call my dealer to have them warranty the injector put it in Wednesday night and haven't had a problem yet. thanks for all the help guys.
