Front brake issue

I've had my 2012 Expedition for a couple of months. Yesterday on a road trip I noticed a signicant vibration when I applied the brakes at 70 mph. So I immediately thought I had a rotor issue. Checked the temperature of that rotor and it was significantly higher than the driver side. Got home and found the right front outer pad was worn almost to the backing plate. On top of that, the pads were worn at an angle where the outside or the long edge of the pad was worn down to the backing plate. That same rotor also had some weird discoloration. Had both rotors turned and got a new set of pads. Drove it this morning to work, seemed like everything was working okay but looked at the driver side rotor and it looked as if the pad was applying pressure more to the outside of the rotor. Checked the temp and it was way hotter than the passenger side. What do I do next? How does that problem move from one side to the other? Some of the reading that I've done so far mentions sticking calipers and bad hoses from the lines to the calipers. I hate to just throw parts at it.

You need to do actual diagnostics on it and not just throw parts at it....ie...check calipers, hoses, etc.

After further reading and research, I took the wheels back off and brakes apart to confirm my suspicion. The problem moved because the brake pads were installed incorrectly on the driver's side (my fault) and they had been installed incorrectly on the passenger's side (previous owner/Ford Dealer fault) causing the problem in the first place. Thanks to those guys that put the videos out there.
