I'm pretty sure I have one of those unicorns. OBDII if I recall correctly and no, I do not want to give it up. I will check this weekend and post the numbers. On the road till then.

😂

So after hunting with no results, decided to start from the bottom, I seen that at idle time was set to 5 degrees and after timing it to 11degrees it is now back firing and missing. Maybe something simple that In not seeing here. Now there is a faint miss at idle as well. And yes I followed procedure to set time via Hanes manual.

After running in circles all day and getting nowhere with this truck I'm still convinced that this problem is in fact coming from the ecm.

Now with that being said before that this mysterious unicorn cannot be found I may have a solution to resolve around trying to find it. As established prior the MT ecm will not allow the truck to function because of the MAF. What if the MAF was just deleted and the engine harness from the 94 were to take place of the the automatic harness and converting the MAF to S/D? I believe this would allow the engine to run. Crossing my fingers that this works, I'm about ready to shoot this damn truck.

I've been reading about people doing away with SD and doing the MAF conversion but came up with nothing about doing it the opposite way.
The only thing I can think of is to do the harness so all electrical systems are there from the donor truck.

One option I've read of is to leave the auto's MLPS plugged into the trans harness, MLPS in P or N, zip tied to frame rail. Only issue I'm aware of is hanging idle when you dissengage the clutch.

I was actually going to do that when I did the swap but figured I had the Ecm and trans harness from the donor truck and wouldnt need it

My bad.

Thought I had one of those, but turns out I had one for 5.0 MAF 4R70W, F6TF-12A650-MD YAZ3, and one for 5.0 MAF E4OD, F6TF-12A650-JE TAD4.

Both are EEC-V, 105 pin connector, OBDII

You are correct. You will need to change everything under the hood because you likely are changing from the 105 pin OBDII ECM to the 86 pin EECIV ECM. There may be a few OBDII issues in the cab as well. Best to get factory EVTM's for both trucks before starting this. Haynes manuals are a little too generic.

May be an issue with the OBDII ECM setting transmission faults if it does not see the solenoids for an E4OD or 4R70W.
Not sure if an OBD1 truck would do the same. If it is an OBD1 truck, maybe try an A9L ECM from a Mustang?

One more thought, if your truck is equipped with the 105 pin OBDII ECM, it will be flash programmable. Possibly someone with the right tuning program can go in and change the transmission settings to accommodate the manual transmission?

There are plenty of companies that advertise they reprogram the PCM's. I have no idea if this would work for him, but there it is.

No, '95 would be an OBD1 truck and both SD and MAF use the same 60 pin connector. What the OP needs here is a Mustang PCM for a manual trans, a few pins in the connector have to be moved both otherwise it's plug and play. There were no OBD1 MAF trucks with a manual trans so that is why nobody can find any PCMs for them.
