It's not only the housing but the output shaft if it has the drive gear on it or even if one can be installed if it does not.

I know on other make / model tranys it can be an issue, the housing will swap but the output shaft was not machined for the drive gear.
Just something to look into before jumping.

I believe you might need to call Jasper again. They learned some things over the years rebuilding these things, and most tranny rebuilders incorporate any little improvement mods in the older trannies to make them last longer. You may find if you talk to Jasper, that the older trans you will be getting is already modified, and after all they do warranty the trans if you use it normally as intended.
