Pull strap caps
Does anyone know of a good place to purchase replacement caps for the door pull straps on the early 90's E's? A friend has a 91 that needs several. He found them at Advanced, at $9.00 a piece. Both of us think that is a terrible price for 1 plastic cap.

Yes. Not many E's of those years in the local yards and none had the pull straps. I thought Dorman's would have decent replacement prices, but that is supposed to be where the Advanced replacements are coming out of. If no one here knows of a decent place, I'll try making some out of Red Oak for him. They'll just have exposed screw heads. But the rest of the Oak trim in his van already has exposed screw heads. I'll just have to make replacements for all the straps, so they are the same.
