2012 Lariat Wheel/Tire TPMS Question

All -

I am considering a purchase of lariat 20" rim take-offs from a 2012 F250/350 with stock bridgestone tires on board. I am trying to confirm if the 2012 SD's were equipped with TPMS as a standard on all wheel combos (I understand that they could have been removed after removal from the truck, just wondering if they were standard)? Thanks for the input - Drew

I believe that TPMS is mandated by the feds and that the 2012 model year was well after it was mandated.

Thanks Poncho - I was looking at that but could only reconcile the year that it went into effect for small cars, etc...

This is from Wiki, so take it for what it's worth:
U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration regulations only apply to vehicles under 10,000 pounds. For heavy duty vehicles (Classes 7 and 8, gross vehicle weight [GVW] greater than 26,000 pounds), most of the above-mentioned systems don't work well, requiring the development of other systems.

I believe every truck made after 2007 has them.
