VIN # location
Now, I know that this site is primarily for trucks and vans and so, if the answer isn't available here then please direct me to the site that would have it, please.
I have a 1982 Mustang and I'm told that there, is a 3rd location for the VIN. Besides inside of the driver's side door and under the windshield, I'm told that a 3rd place exists and that it's somewhere on the frame.
Can anyone tell me whereabouts this is or direct me to a site that can answer this?

it should be passenger side roughly in the area of the front body mount. but unless you exactly where it is you will never find it because it is painted over and very very hard to see.
