JUST INSTALLED THE COOL SEAT KIT FROM SEATGURU. THIS WAS A EASY INSTALL ABOUT AN HOUR. I HAD THE TBS DONE AND IT DID NOT WORK. HOWEVER BEFORE I STARTED I WATCHED THE VIDEO THAT MADE THE WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. MY SEAT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE THE C CHANNEL WAS TORN AND WOULD NOT RECONNECT, ON THE DRIVER THEY DID NOT REINSTALL IT. I WOULD SAY THE TECHNICIAN DONE THIS ON THE TBS WILL BE TALKING TO THE DEALERSHIP. WILL NEED A HOT DAY TO SEE HOW IT WORKS

I will try and make my next tread more presentable. But thanks for noticing the error in my typing not the tread. Through the years I have noticed the grammar and punctuation police on this site, now lets add typing to this list. Does this take away from any of the treads that have and will have mistakes. I would thank not. This is a information site. Not how to write a proper essay. Just saying.
A general internet rule is if you use all caps it means you're yelling. And while I can understand an occasional misspelling, basic grammar allows others to read your post easier. There's are....some really good posts, hers on da forum dat ar....and to follow bekuse of the righting.
But related to your original post...please respond back how well they work. My kit is arriving this week and I'm excited to get it installed next weekend.
I used the cool seats today,however the outside air temperature was only 75. I could tell the difference on the back of the seat. Temperature should be warmer this week, but it looks like a good fix.
TSB - is Technical Service Bulletin. A TSB is the solution Ford puts out to their dealerships for fixing a problem. If I remember correctly, the white mesh netting stuff in the picture (at the SeatGuru) is the fix. It doesn't work...
Look what I got in the mail today...Saturday can't come quick enough.
Well it was 86 here today cool seat are working. They are better then the TBS fix.Which was not a fix. Will not get as cool as the bottom part of the seat,but no sweating back.
Yes, I installed it on Saturday. It is working pretty well. It provided obvious cooling on Sunday, but was less functional today. The difference being I think my seat was heat soaked from the sun today. My back definitely doesn't get warm anymore, and the seat bottom feels cooler than usual. Not convinced the price was worth the benefit, but I'll hold final judgement for a few weeks.
