Someone had posted a side by side before and after picture of the F150 brackets and the Super Duty brackets. I cant seem to find it now. Basically the F150 brackets are just shorter so you side steps will be higher by a couple inches.
I was wondering this also
I ordered a truck without boards.
I like the way the 150 running boards fit a little tighter to the body .
That being said does this mean if I order from (Ford Acessories) running boards for a 2017 F150 crew cab they will fit on a 2017 F 350 crew cab?
This is a running board #for 150 running board BC3Z-16450-DB will fit on a 350?
Did anyone find the picture that Liquid Stream was talking about.
I saw that picture also but cannot find it.
So my question is if I ordered side steps for a 150 crew they would fit on a 350 crew but a little higher.
Thanks

Tried to order the brackets. And ford changed them.
This is the response I got from Ware Ford.
"Unfortunately Ford is in the process of updating these brackets and the new part number (FL3Z 16A506FB ) is not available yet. These new brackets will be made to accommodate the rivets in the rocker panel. But as of now they do not look to be available until mid to late September."

Accommodate the rivets? What does that even mean? There not mounted to the rocker panel? wierd
I ended up contacting all the ford dealers that had online parts ordering. And found one that had the FL3Z-16A506-FA. Was 32.00 each. Just got 4 for now.

Yeah Ive had mine ordered for a while now and just called on them a few days ago. They said that they were on backorder but that some would be coming in and they would ship them out to me immediately... about 7-8 days they said.
You guys ordering 4 or 6? Ive got 3 brackets on each of my f250 running boards. definitely wanna raise them up. Could also take the brackets off, cut them down and weld them back together.
If ford is changing them its gotta be negligible since that other guy is running f150 brackets... right?

I tried to order the new style brackets on Sept 11th but they were not available yet. Today, five months later my Ford dealer still shows them as not available to order and no information on when they will be able to order them.
