My link still shows them as available. It did take them about a month I think to get to me because of a back order situation but at least the website shows an ability to order. https://www.wearefordparts.com/oem-p...t-fl3z16a506fa
Based on the response you got it sounds like there was an issue with fitment on the F150's and thus they are changing them. If that is the case I would be curious to see if a newly designed F150 bracket would even fit a super duty.
Sorry to dig up an old thread, but does anyone know if the new part number (FL3Z 16A506FB ) will fit an F250 and raise the running boards up to the cab?
I bought Six F150 take off brackets to raise my Extended Running Boards on my 176” WB F350 SRW & couldn’t be more happier
After raised about 3”. I redrilled new bolt holes for rear bracket that’s only on extended length steps
Hung down too far stock imo
If you have the time can you take a picture from the top down? Is there actually enough room to get your foot on the step if you don't have the extra wide running boards?

Id like to see this also with the door open. The running boards on my Dads F150 are too close and I always slip off them when getting out. He doesn't even use them anymore.
Did anyone have problems removing the brackets from the running boards? It looks like Ford used some type of Loctite on the bolts that go into the boards.
For those still looking for brackets, you might hit the F150 forum up also. I know there was talk there a while back about putting the SD brackets on the F150's to lower the boards for those that didn't like them that high, so you might find someone looking to change theirs and work a deal to swap them. When I still had my F150, I was looking at doing the running board lowering, but then I traded trucks and got electric running boards. Still a might tall for the g/f, but i'll take the power any day.
I’m Sorry, but I was referring to the bolts that hold brackets to the running boards. I’m having problems getting them unbolted from the bottom of the boards.
I just noticed that F-150 is only have two brackets per side, but super duties have three brackets per side. Considering they now have the same exact cab is it really necessary to get three brackets, or will just two per side suffice?
