Afternoon Fellas, hope everyone is having a good summer!
I need a little help finding some Aluminum 16.5" wheels for one of my projects and I cant seems to find anything worthy up here in Maine/New Hampshire. I was wondering if ya'll could keep your eyes peeled when on CL and other classifieds? I'd really like a set of Centerline convopros, Weld, super singles, stone crushers, sidewinders, etc, Mickey Thompson classic IIs, Eagle Alloys etc..
16.5", 8 on 6.5, width doesnt matter 8,9,9.75,10 or 12", and backdpace between 3 and 4.5". I'll attach some pics for reference. Thanks.
Why do you want 16.5"'s?
I will be replacing my 16.5" Eagle Alloys because I can't find ANY tires for them. I HAVE to switch to a 16" or 17" rim.
Well on my truck I run Weld Super Singles with the 37" BFG Bajas (hummer takeoffs 4 MTR GOODYEAR 37X12.50R 16.5 LT MILITARY TIRE and wheels 90% to 95% tread life | eBay, 5 BF GOODRICH BAJA T/A 37X12.50R 16.5 MILITARY TIRES and WHEELS 100% tread life) on them and their fantastic on the road, no wheel weights and 30k on them so far, but for anything smaller and not a retread yeah finding tires is almost impossible. I need the rims for my Jeep project, I have a new set of 42/14/16.5 TSL SX2s that I want to mount up. I do have a set of Weld Stone Crusher 16"x10 8 on 6.5 if you want them? Maybe we could work something out or I could buy yours depending on what the specs are?
If you could send me a few pics of the 16 x 10's to my email, that would be great. I'll try and do same once I get your email: sales@rosewooddieselshop.com.
I am running 33 x 12.5 x 16.5 tires now, and the wheels should work fine with your 37's. I am sure I don't have the paperwork anywhere, but I think they are Eagle Alloy 589's. At least they look very similar.

Got it! I'll shoot you an email with the pics I have on my phone. I'll be home next Thursday and can take more if needed. They'll need a good polish.
