2017 Ford Expedition

Are you able to disable the rear audio controls without unplugging anything?

Not certain about a '17 but it'd be wierd not to be able to given you certainly can on my '15.
Dont recall exactly how to do it but its buried in the touchscreen menus somewhere.

The systems are very different from a 15 to a 16/17 (mytouch vs sync 3) I have looked on my 17 on how to do it and have yet to find a way. Which can be annoying sometimes with kids in the car!

Going to retract my earlier statement.

While I still actually believe I previously shut of the rear controls I can't figure out how the heck to do it again now so it is entirely possible that it can't be done and my recollection is faulty.

Yes '15s and '17s have very different interface but this sems like a pretty basic functionality for a family vehicle so would expect it to carryover if in fact it was there in the first place.
