Last week my retina detached. I went into surgery Sunday nite. Two & a half hours later it was reattached. I'm in for a long recovery. Thank God it was my weak eye. My good eye is still 20/25. But the vision in the weak eye is very blurry & I tire easy. The doctor said the vision would clear but they use a gas to repair & it has to dissipate & that takes at least two weeks or more. I see the doctor next Friday & I might know more. This has been a stressful, scary situation. But I'll get through it. Thank God I'm alive & in fairly good health still.
Today instead of heading out to the mountains for some wheeling, I get to sit in a hot house with no AC. It went out last night and we are supposed to be in 104-112 temps all week. I am waiting for the property management company to get back to me. I wish they would stop bandaiding this unit and replace it. This is the 3rd time this season they will have been out to fix it.
Wow Greg that doesn't sound like fun. I would be pissed off. We are hot 300 miles north of you mid to high 90s maybe 100. This has been the hottest summer I can remember up here. Wonder what winter will bring?
I know the feeling Greg. The AC went out in my car just last week, and now I don't want to drive it until I get it fixed, but obviously, that will not work. So I try to get all my errands done early in the morning now.
Morning Jim, Greg, and the rest of the NV crew! That's ridiculous, Greg. At some point, they're going to have to just replace it. Wonder how old the unit is?
Hopefully they can hook you up. We lost power at the house Friday for 7 hours. Luckily, it was only 80 degrees out, so the house didn't get hot. Screwed me out of an entire day of working on the truck, though.
