Evening Gang.
I have been gone the last few days.
I got a detached retina in my eye. Last nite it was repaired by a great surgeon in Reno. When I went to get it checked today I was told it was completely detached. Talk about going blind in an eye almost over-nite is one of the scariest things I have ever had happen. But God is great & put a couple of great doctors & medical people in my path, along with praying friends & my sight is on its way back. It takes a few weeks to get to a clear vision but at least I can see out of it even though its fuzzy & unclear.

Well it stayed completely overcast until after the eclipse yesterday.
Holy crap Craig, I hope you get full recovery of the eye. Maybe it heard of the coming eclipse and went on strike!

I saw the eclipse 40 years ago. I passed on it this time. I remember buying the darkest welding lens I could get when I saw the last one.

Happy Hump Day:
This month has flown by way to quick & the cooler temperatures are just around the corner. I've been enjoying this month hanging out with friends coloring, swimming & laying out by the pool & going for rides while the weather is still nice.
Any plans for the day?
I hope to get a quick ride in sometime today before helping a friend clean her house although I really should be disposing of alll the tumbleweeds
& trash around the yard. With all of the Brush fires weve had recently, I really need to clear some defensible space outside/around the house.
( maybe ill save that for this weekend)LOL

Pat hope you are feeling better.
I know this eye deal has me not feeling real good. But I'm thankful I'm not blind & that I'm able to see blurred out of the eye. The doctor told me this was normal for at least a few weeks.
