King Ranch without console?
I have now sold my 2015 and am shopping for a 2017 or 2018. I see that the King Ranch can be bought with chrome bumpers which is great for driving in fields. But the console is a pain when carrying rifles.
Did the King Ranch ever come without a console?

yes, its called a lariat with split bench front seat. Usually order only, very hard to find in stock at dealer

There is no King Ranch Lariat....
The highest trim you can get a front bench is a Lariat: we ordered one a few month back since we wanted a front bench in order to occasionally carry 6 people. We also were coming from a KR, but we wanted the bench more than the KR...

Back to shopping Lariats. I never thought about the rear AC either. But I need the bench.

Right...I think the assumption is that by the King Ranch and Platinum trim levels, buyers are primarily concerned with luxury...and that's why the split bench is not offered...since if you had it, you lose the rear air conditioning, rear heated seats, rear 110v outlet, front illuminated console, etc.
So, as others have said...the Lariat is the highest trim level you can still get the split bench on...and it seems 95% of Lariat models are sold with the console.
