Afternoon All!

Yes Chip. That is a "Free Wheelin' " trim package.

I got woken up twice last night. Once by my daughter asking if she could go to McDonald's at 2200 with her friend and her friend's brother. (No way!) and just as I was dozing off, some stoned teenager plowed across my yard and through my retaining wall, and ended up in the trees on the far side of the driveway. He even drop kicked my trash dumpster all over my neighbor's yard. Needless to say I was super pissed. I'm happy he went to jail for D.U.I. All his little friends had to call and get a ride home. Now starts the fun of cleaning up the mess.

X2 on yes Chip "Freewheeling" package. I believe it was a sticker and not a actual paint on option from Ford. And I have read that the sticker is being reproduced. Not to be confused with the Pace truck option.

Alan as long as the people in the house are ok and all the rest is fixable.

RC, my EVT does show some cluster wiring. Not sure if the difference in years will make any difference. Your welcome to try it if you want. I could drop it off at Alans shop if you will be up this way anytime soon if you want. Bruce

RC - We'll be moving Alex into his apartment Friday. I could drop my schematics off with Alan sometime if you want to check them out.

Woo Hoo!

Sounds like I'm gonna have some visitors!

I got color down on the '69 Chevy today. The insides of the doors and one fender. I hope to have both fenders and doors done by the weekend. This thing needs to go.

Dave I saw your post about the bolt shearing off. Can you weld a stud to that broken bolt? That's what they had to do on my Yellow truck, when both thermostat bolts broke off.

I remember when those broncos were new. I always like that color scheme. and wanted one so bad. Even tho I was just a kid when they were new.
I know where a black f-150 is with that color scheme, or what's left of it, they spray painted most of it away. It does have the push bar and roll bar in the bed still.

Not really. It's an aluminum housing that didn't have much meat for threads to begin with. I've already ordered a NOS piece that should be here by the weekend.

I was lucky as my bolts came out without a problem. Make sure put a little antiseize on the new housing bolts.
