SYNC thread: Bluetooth audio
I have a 2015 XL. The only way I can get the radio to stream from my phone (with out a cord) is to:
-hit voice button on steering wheel
-say "Bluetooth audio"
I can't get there by pushing the media button on the steering wheel or menu on the radio..or aux.....
Is there a way to get it to the streaming audio without having to do this every time I get in the truck?

Try a master reset of your sync system.
Does your iphone connect ok otherwise (ie: for calls)?
i don't have to do anything special to have my iphone 6 audio go through the truck other than to srlect "media" (i think it is).
My truck is a 2011 though, so your Sync is not the same as mine.
