What a beauty! Congrats on getting a cool old truck. When I met my wife when I was 17 I had a 1965 F100 which she loved as much as me, I sold it not long after for many reasons and finally got another one 21 years later. She has been super supportive and I now have a 1957 Mercury to go with my 1964 F100. I even ask her opinion on when I'm building them and have questions like color or interior colors etc.
Don't let the FIL bust your butt just keep smiling and enjoy that ride.
Welcome to FTE!

It's definitely better with wife support. Mine almost talked me into modern super singles and lopro in he front! Luckily Stu hooked me up with a couple of the right wheels and saved me a few grand

Update. Got the old 7r22.5 replaced with 9r. They fill the wheel well and don't rub.

I got this one from LMC. It's not OEM but I think it looks clean. Just had to drill a hole for one of the hold down bolts.

Group 29 batteries are still available when that point comes.
