Curious to know which is the best leveling kit for a 2WD?

Makes sense. I would have upgraded knowing your testimony. I did put bilsteins 4600s on later. I had debated the 5100s for the lifted trucks and now you are making me wonder if I would have gotten an even better ride with those. Oh well, that ship has sailed...

I don't mind adding longer travel shocks, but I don't want to have to cut anything off the truck and then rethread it as I saw from some posts above. Don't you have to do that when you say "bolt extenders"?

I had to in order to get the travel range where I wanted it. They fit on without the trimming and re-threading, but the shock is a little too compressed for my taste. I travel rougher roads and didn't want to bottom out.

Daystar makes some shocks for a leveled 2wd truck with no modification required, but when I tried a set, they were about as bad a ride as worn out factory shocks that should have been replaced 50k miles ago.

Crap..i got rancho 5k now and the stockers hit the can, a long time ago...im cool with extendos but will have to find an "all-thread" bolt to match. My 2.5" spacers are collecting dust
