I have a 67 f100 I have rebuilt and I can not get the truck to stay running it's like the run portion of the tumbler is not working do you think the tumbler is bad it's the original tumbler
If your truck has the round terminals pins changes our it's the ign. key switch/plug
The switch with the round pins over heated an would loose contact an not start.
The real problem was the plug so the plug & switch need to be changed out to a flat blade type switch as noted below.

OP has a 1967 that uses a one year only ignition switch: C7UZ-11572-A / Motorcraft SW-583
The POS switch that would short out and catch fire (C8AZ-112572-A) was used on all 1968/69 FoMoCo vehicles (except Bronco), 1970 F100/750 & Econoline before serial number G90,001.
This POS switch was replaced in 1971 with D1AZ-11572-C / Motorcraft SW-1054
