I am about to undertake this procedure (next weekend) on my 1969 F-100 I am planning on taking pictures during the procedure. I have a cab mount from JC Whitney with Bolts all over it.
Should be loads of Fun.

thanks guys! i've never had experience with body work and am a little uneasy about doing this. i have picked up a second hand mig welder and thanks to harbor freight a cheap air chisle so maybe I should just do it. I get most of my parts from a place just across state line in Lenexa Kansas - call and order a free catalogue. they're one of the cheapest places i've found for new parts and everything seems to fit okay. # is 1-800-********. i'll keep my eyes open for your pics.

very good point. the main reason i use this company is becuase it's within driving distance and i don't have to wait for the product. i have seen many trim (interior and exterior) that motorhaven is better priced or at least have the part available. i appreciate your loyalty.
