Cabin Air Filter.
I saw a link showing intervals for changing filters and in this link it says Cabin Air Filter. Where is this located if we are equipped with one? Ive looked for a part number in the past and nothing shows up.

FP79 is what i have for part number and i believe its behind the glove box.

Cabin air filter location is behind glove box (see OM v3 page 150 and 151).

Filter is Motorcraft FP-79 (see OM v3 pages 417 and 418).

I change mine every 12K miles. Its amazing how dirty mine get. I do travel a lot of rock roads and do most of my business in rock quarries tho.

On my old truck the cabin air filter could be cleaned in the sink with soap and water. Any chance the one on the Ford is the same way?

the owners manual suggests changing the filter every 15k miles.

Haven't looked at this one but most vehicles you just drop down the glove box by releasing retainers and pop out a plastic cover.

Not hard at all.
