Non-turbo diesel tailgate emblem. Actually found it on a gasser truck, Couldnt find a picture of this particular badge on the net but I know it is a Ford piece - it is in the part cats.. Also pulled a crew cab all power door panel for 14$. It was a good day team!

Whipped up a 3D model so we can have these made again - I've been searching for one of these emblems for years with no luck. Not that I am a fan of LMC but i couldn't find it in their catalog, nor NPD. I'll get with my parts guy today and see if there is any old stock floating around the country anymore, and to get a good part #.

Measure, measure, measure. The smaller horizontal lines were all 1/16" tall, the wider vertical lines all 1/8" wide, and all the letters had an 1/8" spacing. Letters were all 1/2" tall, too. The inside curves on all the letters had a 1/16" radius and all the outside curves had a 1/8" radius. It all just kind of falls together when you look at it.

none of my 6 trucks had that on the tailgate.
they all had it on the driver side front between the headlight and bumper.

I think the 87-91 trucks got this badge under the headlight :

But from what I can tell, only the '92 trucks got this badge:

As in '93, they went to a factory turbo diesel:
