So I recently scored a full set of seats out of a 2014 SD CC Lariat to dump into my 02 Ex XLT. Well, fronts from the Lariat, rears from a 2012 XLT CC. The guy I got them from bought seats from the '14 to upgrade his '12 to leather but he didn't want to fart with wiring the heat/cool for the fronts so he swapped covers. Long story short, what connectors do I need to hook up power seat switches to my Ex factory wiring? I realize the heat and cool functions may not work properly with the cloth covers, so unless someone smarter than me tells me it's ok I won't worry about those for now.
Also, I hate the factory steering wheel, so I grabbed one with an airbag from an 05 F150 XLT. Any advice on wiring that pig in? No audio controls, just cruise functions like in my Ex.
I wished I knew the answers, but I believe you can hook everything up with the correct wiring. Even with the audio controls, if you have a aftermarket radio.
Did you get the plugs from the truck that come out of the floor to mate to the seats? If not, you are looking at the impossible. Even with the plugs on hand, you will need to run wiring and add a couple of 12V feed circuits to your truck so the seats can work to their full design. This will require fuses and relays in most cases.

I didn't get the plugs, no. That's part of my question; where would I find them? My local dealership isn't worth 2 squirts, so I was hoping someone had access to a p/n so I could order a pair from Tousley, and maybe some wiring diagrams.
If you can get the wiring diagrams from a 2014 service manual, you will advance yourself light years in your efforts. It will have all the wires/circuits (that you will likely need to add), and it will possibly have the plug part number as well.
Another member recently asked this same question about 2008-2010 seats. I took photos of the plugs in a 2010 that were sticking up out of the floor of a truck at the salvage yard I frequent. It uses two plugs (one big, one small and LOTS of wires and pins) to power the seat and all the heat/cool/power functions the seats have. Compare that to the one, small, simple plug our vehicles have, and you have your work cut out for you. You can't just run it all on the one power seat circuit you have now. You will need to add some additional circuits beyond the power and heated seats circuits you currently have for proper protection so your butt doesn't catch fire one day.

has the Excursion wiring in 1 spot. use the link I provided above for the F-150 wiring...but it's going to be pretty obvious
The swap is super easy. just be careful with your clockspring. don't let it spring out and unwind. sucks putting back together. and also make sure to tape it or otherwise secure. it only has limited travel in either direction. repositioning it could cause the wires to pinch/pull
If I can find one in a yard locally I'm all over it. They are few and far enough between around here though that I'm likely better off just ordering new parts. Thanks for the info, gents. If you're ever in NW WA, beer is on me
