Just in case anyone is interested. As an Owner of a 93 Ford Centurian ( 4 door Bronco ) I took the liberty of compiling some info on them. 1st The introduction of the 4 door was concieved in 1977 and implemented in its earliest form in 79 as a direct competitor to chevy's Suburban. Newer models, ( 2 suspension packages avail in both 2 and 4wd) were based on the F series extra cab frame, so as to not bee too long to handle. The front clip and rear section are based from the Bronco, giving them a very distinct look, while the cab section is from an F-250 Crew Cab. Interior packages vary as well as exterior trim. The base models were prices around $10,000 higher than a base Eddie Bauer while the EB version climbed to almost $20,000 more. The most common varions are the F150 Classic in 4wd but they are all rare in any form. Production in most years was limited to 1000 units or less. My 93 is 271 of 600 for that year.
You know that truck is nice, but I bet you are only 12 inches or lees in length than a Centurian. Not much of a difference so far as I can see. But not a bad ride nontheless. Also a side note. The cab is from an F-250 not an F-150 From the looks in the aftermarket area. you need to really know what parts fit where to get anything for them.
Daniel... where did you find that? who put it together? Do they have a site? I like the looks of that thing! Nice RARE ride.
Also, If all you Centaurian owners are reading this, are any of you from the Johnson City, TN area? I saw a Cent. when i was dropping my lil sis off at college over there.
