Maybe I am not making my point clear, I wish there was a kit to "bolt on" that uses Ford rotors, calipers etc.
I live in the middle of a huge metroplex, the Pick-n-Pulls don't keep anything older than 90's parts on the lots. If I were to find a donor not only would I have to drive there and back, find a way to pull the parts, they would all have to fit in my Kia LOL !
I agree with you, when I go to install the kit (with Dodge rotors and GM calipers) I will most like order the pins and bushings to replace the worn out parts. Again all these are small and can be shipped to my local Parts distributor or even my home.
I have the MP brake kit on my '69 comprised of the GM calipers and Dodge rotors.
I was also wanting the Ford parts- put Ford in a Ford right. But I have the same issue with the pick n pulls near me. I can tell you that the braking confidence I now have is very satisfactory, and in truth I was never all that happy with the sliders on the Ford calipers.

Hey Jon, did you have to make any modifications to the OEM axle to install the kit?
I think they prolly reseached Ford rotors but found their offset wouldn't work for them to make their flat brackets. Sorry this computer always blows pics up so big.
deeper offset.
shallower offset.
Ford and Dodge 1/2 tons had the same bolt pattern. So if they did look at Ford rotors 1st and found none of the correct offset and diameter, they prolly researched Dodge rotors.
Now the calipers had to be for the same diameter of the rotors they picked. Also they had to have mount points in there housings to mount to their flat bracket with the rotor fitting right inside them correctly.
