CODE P0022
I have an F250 with the 5.4 V8. Its throwing the code P0022 and when I'm in reverse or idle after reverse it rattles and sounds almost like a crappy diesel. Has anyone ever had this problem before? Should I continue to drive it?

I went and got the code scanned and found it's bank 2. I'm just wondering if anyone's had this happen to them before, how expensive is it to fix and should I keep driving it with the code and the shake in reverse or bring it to the shop?

I would get it fixed ASAP, if it's your DD. Why would you want to mess around with driving it and taking a chance on even more damage happening. The VVT or VCT sensor sends the signal to the ECM / PCM for timing adjustments on the engine, obviously, there is a problem with the solenoid or wiring. Remember one simple saying : A problem ignored will only lead to bigger problems down the road.
