rebuilding 9 inch
Just read the tech article on how to rebuild a ford 9 inch. I feel so much smarter now! I now have the confidence to build the one for my car and rebuild the one in my truck! Sure beats having the local speed shop steal 450 to do it for me. Pinion shim, backlash, and preload on carrier bearings, proper torque specks. Is that it? It has seemed to be a much harder task. Hey if I can work on multimillion dollar C-17s then a 9 inch rear is a piece of cake!!
