Rare intake?
Is this dual 4 a rare intake manifold? ECG9424-D I believe were the cast numbers on it. I'm debating selling it (I'm up in Canada) but have no clue of its value. Grandpa gave it to me, came with his 57 skyliner as an extra piece and he wants none of it. Has had a previous repair but seems in fairly good shape.

I can't remember the name of it but that is a killer duel 4 barrel ram type intake......it worked well on the street because of the long "tunnels" and if one carb was slightly out of sync, it compensated to balance out the flow.....

That's not any kind of ram intake. It is the 1957 E code intake. It's not particularly rare as far as 2 - 4 intakes go. The repair looks good and can be cleaned up so that it does not stand out as much. Check eBay to get an idea about what they go for. I think you might get $600-$800 for it.
