Just thought I would throw out a product that I thought you guys might find of value. I am not selling nor do I have any affiliation...just a happy customer. The product is the Pedal Commander.
Coming from the Raptor community, well still in it - but I digress...this is a pretty popular mod among us. Basically, this unit remaps the drive-by-wire algorithm between the fuel pedal and the ECU. For example, in stock trim, 20% throttle input delivers say 12% fuel to motor. Occasionally, this results in the mashing the pedal to get the trucks booty movin! The Pedal Commander turns the 20% throttle input into...say a 40% throttle to the motor. Its relatively inexpensive and super simple to install, basically unplugging fuel pedal, plugging it into the Pedal Commander in-wire dongle and plugging the PC out-wire dongle into the fuel pedal. The actual unit has 24 adjustable throttle positions to dial-in but honestly, Ive only ever used Sport +2. It comes with enough cable to mount neatly on the dash for easy adjustability.
I owned my truck 3 days before seeing area for improvement. Quite pleased with the mod and the performance. Easy to remove for warranty service as well. As a guideline, $250ish should get it shipped to your door.
Let me know if anyone has any questions or wants pics. I can recommend a Raptor parts reseller where I sourced mine, if you cant find better than the price above. Again, no benefit to me, they have just treated me right in the Raptor world and Im always happy to recommend a great shop.
I totally agree about the needed area of improvement. I came from a Duramax with full delete and EFI Live...Love this new Ford except for the massive latency on throttle response. If this device minimizes that I'm in. Can you send me the link to the seller?
The 4th Gen Cummins Rams are the absolute worst. It's to the point where forums are getting members to file complaints with the NTSB.
I have the BD Diesel TSB on mine, and quite frankly, I don't see where it does much good. The only thing it did was make low speed throttle inputs very jerky (parking lots, in the driveway, etc.). It turned the throttle more so into a light switch.

I'd love to message you but still in "newbie" jail, I guess. You can PM me or email me pat.gordon@gmail
