It Depends on if it's 2wd or 4wd. My 1970 F250 2wd had power disc brakes and power steering.
The F250 4x4 setup I have now has a 1976 Dana 44(first year for F250 4x4 discs), but integral power steering was not avail till mid 77 ,I think. I put a 78 gearbox on mine.
All the pre-77 power steering was of the power-assist type on F250 4x4's. A good system when it was new and parts were readily available, but it's being ditched in favor of the integral type used in the late 70's.
