Highboy Question

Never really paid attention to the springs before when raping parts off them for my 70. So in actuallity you could take a lowboy and put the highboy springs on and have a highboy. So the only differance between height on a low and highboy is a matter of 2in depending on spring sag.

Highboy Question

uh, nope. the springs are flat because the frame is a different design. putting the higher arc will lift it some but it will still be a lowboy. the frame is dramaically different and it is most obvious when you see the rear ends are different because the lowboy has the mounts further apart. there is a lot more to it than that but you can use the search function and read some old threads if you really care to. hawkrod

Highboy Question

I'm aware of the mechanical differances of the Low and Highboy boys I was just asking about the ride height and front spring Differences. And no more old threads about anything here, I have done more reading on this site than anyone could ever believe, never a lack of info on FTE. LOL Thanks for the insight on the arc thing though Hawkrod. So is that supercab up and running? Patrick

Highboy Question

any thing bigger than 35 and you rub the steering on the stock set up with offset 10in width wheels on the 77 you rub the inner fender bigger than 35 if you cut out the fenders and rremove the inner liners on a77 you will run out of room for suspension flex
remember the fenders are only about 4-5 inches above your frontwheels then the hood starts on these oldies
