CHECK AIR FILTER
Brand new to this site and to a diesel pickup. I have an 08 F-250. 6.4.
I have a mini maxx tuner. My question is, every time I get on the truck pretty hard I get an error message to check my air filter. I just replaced the filter with an K&N. I can reset the air filter and the warning light goes away until I get on her again.

I would get rid of the K&N filter personally. They tend to let waaaay too much particulate and small humans through to the turbo wheels. I would also recommend a closed box intake setup. S&B is a good one...and it won't throw filter minder codes either.

No problem Chad. I've used K&N filters on previous gasoline vehicles I've had. However, after getting into a diesel and doing plenty of research, the K&N filters are not as highly praised in the diesel world. Have to protect those turbo wheels from dusting.
