1960 Step Van
Hello everyone,
Stumbled upon this site while desperately searching for parts for my 1960 Step Van (on a P500 frame). This seems like the best forum to post it in, not entirely sure. I have been spending some time looking through older posts to see if there are already posts answering. In the meantime, enjoying the projects posted here.
Trying to figure out how to post pictures, maybe I need to hit that 5 post and 10 day minimum first, not sure. Album can be found at: 1960 Ford Step Van - Album on Imgur but I have not updated in a while.
Looking for Rear Brake Retracting Springs. Kelsey Hayes part 2296.

part 2296. The body was installed by aftermarket body makers.
If this is a P500, the VIN will begin with P50. 1957/72 P500's have 14.125" x 3.50" rear brakes.
2296 is the Ford basic part number for rear brake shoe retracting springs:
TDAA-2296-A .. Rear Brake Shoe Retracting Spring / Obsolete
NOS PARTS LTD in Waxahachie TX has 5 = 972-937-2201.
KLIMESH MOTOR SALES in Calmar IA has 10 = 563-562-3241.
MCDONALD OBSOLETE PARTS in Rockport IN has 10 = 812-359-4965.
