Leave it to sales guys. I honestly haven't been following the Ranger enough to know if this is an old body being used for testing, or if this is what we're getting, but a guy at a Chrysler dealer in IN posted these on a sales person FB page, and I'm passing them on to you. Enjoy, cringe, comment, whatever, here you go!
I don't think the Ranger looks like a Sport Trac...with that stupid bar between the cab and bed, yes, but it really looks like a truck in the lower trim levels. Plus, I think the upper trim levels will look manlier for America!
The Sporttrac Adrenalin was nice looking package IMO. The vehicle Frantz posted picture of is a Euro Ranger test mule, the final NA spec Ranger may or may not look anything like that and I'm hoping it doesn't because that thing is fuuuuugly.

I originally thought that we were in for a redesigned front clip, but after seeing pictures of the Ranger Raptor (assuming that it's destined for the US market) with the global clip (and new fenders that seem to fit the front grill, headlights, and bumper perfectly), I'm not so sure.
I really don't mind this one, though. We will probably get different trim packages at the very least, which will overcome the more European parts of the truck.
I'm going to agree on the test mule. Chassis is probably going to carry over. The aftermarket gauges give me the impression that they are using it to test North American spec engines.
