re-building differentials right now

I have a 92 Ford Bronco w/33's, 3:55's, & 185K miles. I am having my differentials rebuilt with 4:10's as we speak.

I was told the Front Dana 44 comes stock as an open Diff. as opposed to L/S which would make every stock '92 and up Bronco a 3 wheel drive, right? So I decided to put in a Trak-loc in the front to make it a true (L/S) 4 wheel drive.

I was also told my rear trak-loc was tired and so Im going with a new Auburn which is altoghether a better unit. Does all this sound right to you? THe guy who's doing this is very reputable around Socal. So I think Im doing the right thing...what do you think?

having L/S in the rear is good, and it's nice in the front, but if your not planning on use the the front (4WD), then i dont see where it a big deal, but if your gona do a lot of four wheelin then sooner or later you be glad you had. DW

I personally don't like Tak-locs since I have busted two of them, one of which broke in half. As for the alburn in back, good choice I have one in the 8.8 and love it. they are a good strong diff and very tight even for a LS. When I had it in my truck (Had to change the housing because of a wheel seal... Timken bearing repair kits suck) I could practically climb over anything.

Also a LS was an option on the front axle, I know because I have one but tehy still aren't very effective.
