Dial-Up or Broadband?
DSL here. Somehow, I uncaped my line, so i get up to 2mb down. compared to the extimated 400kb. hehe. Had it for 2 years. Only problem is that SBC bill for 2 months at a time. so instead of the bill being $49 its $99. I've called, and they say there is nothing they can do about it.

I want my connection i have at work at my house T3!! you are not goin to belive this 100MBS!! yes 100MBS that is what 100,000KBS? or is it 10,000KBS? either way, it is alot more than anythign else is.!! At the house I get between 400 and 600KBS on cable
to bad they cao of our internet at 5000KBS our networks run alot faster, our nationwide network, not jsut the base, i can tlakto a comp in hawaii, as long as it is a gov comp at 100MBS

hah our cable company would not gve us a second IP adress, the losey no good....can't say that......we run two comps with one lousy IP adress, slows it down just a little

Here at school it says we have T2 according to the speedometer. There are 600 connected computers and I am actually gettting the information faster than my computer can recognize where to put it. P4 at 2.65 GHz

Matt, same here our comps are NOWHERE near fast enough to take in all the information and they run for months at a time without ever being shut down though....our work servers, the 5 i use, have over 4000 gigs of space used!! they are about to give us a few more....
The fastest speed I get is 28.8.

This little laptop inmpresses me every time I log on. I used to think this kind of space and capability was only available on high end PC's. As for power consumption it is about 1/4 of what a conventional PC uses. BTW, by high end I mean Alien, Micron, and Custom built.

Little Rock Arkansas, I am in the military...I work at the command post, we run the base, so we have the best connections, only place with better comps is comm squadron, of course.
