This is in a '74 4x4. Located between fuel pump and carb. Haven't been able to find anything in shop manual (probably not looking hard enough) or online. It's seen better days as you can probably see. A 429 is going in hopefully in about a month.
Should I keep it?

DAMN! I plead age and being in a rush. But yes, I did have a pic, and here it is, positioned under the absent radiator.
As Blue and White says, gasoline fuel coolers aren't all the rage but I could see someone repurposing a power steering cooling in a possibly misguided attempt to fix vapor lock.
