Unbelievable volume of people and cars!
I'm hoping this is just a summertime thing and when the kids go back to school we will get back to normal. Have plans for September and the 5th wheel.

I've been very lucky with all the running around I've been doing in the new truck(little over 3K miles in the last month) that I haven't really dealt with too much of the summer traffic. Been to NH and VT a few times and RI as well, and it's been pretty smooth sailing. Until now that I just said something.

You've been real lucky Josiah. Weekends have been ridiculous when it comes to traffic when traveling north.

This weekend I will be hanging around CT. Do a little work around the camper.

Next weekend a bunch of the campers are going to the lobster fest up in Rockland, Maine. There will be 3 or 4 camps left here so we will have a seafood bake over a open fire. Note with adult beverages.

This retired life is tough.

I'm trying to decide if I should have somebody take care of the exhaust leak in the truck or deal with it myself. Also, whether I should go "cheap" and just replace the manifold with another stock one, or go all in a do a full exhaust with some headers.

Your not kidding. It was getting a little tropical for awhile. Hope it stays this way for awhile. I'm taking the truck on it's first road trip up to VT for some camping. I own a business and it's the first vacation I've had in three years. So looking forward to it. Have to replace my plugs, coils, front brakes/bearings this week before I leave. Going to be a helluva busy week!

Last night I was on 95 going south from New Haven to Bridgeport. Traffic was nuts for 9:30pm on a Sunday. I felt like I was the only person from CT on 95. Surrounded by NJ and NY plates. Pretty nuts.

Weather is great on the last day of July.

Was down in Newport, RI yesterday and it was a little crazy with the folk festival. No parking anywhere and with the weather being as good as it was, brought out the natives. Traffic on the way home not to bad, would get heavy then lighten up on the way home. Took all back roads.

Going to grease up the 5th wheel hitch today since there's no humidity out there. Getting ready for my trip in September.
