I thought when I was ordering that the regular back up camera located in the tailgate would be able to do the wide angle for backing into cross traffic. Unless I missed it somewhere I guess I was wrong. Is there anyway to add that option after?
My driveway is a bit of a nightmare for long vehicles like this when backing out. Thanks
I have the (optional) ultimate tow package which has cameras mounted under the side view mirrors, which in combination w/ the tailgate camera give you a view down the side of the truck/trailer
The sensors certainly warn me where there is cross traffic as I'm backing up. I haven't played with the backup camera other than using it for hooking up to my trailer or checking to make sure I'm far enough into the garage to clear the door.

I kind of regretting the cross traffic alert as it does not work 50% of the time. Always goes off backing up to the garage.
In general I find the standard camera to be fairly wide. Often use it backing up from angle stops where your mirrors are blocked. I don't have the 360 option just the standard camera.
I saw a YouTube video of the wide angle option and it look like it would help me very much. But I'm starting to think I would've had to go with the 360 camera option to get it so that probably isn't worth it.
