That they do Rick. Although some are found by chance. One was found right next to a highway within the last ear or 2. That took awhile to make safe. it was a 5 ton bomb.

No plans for tomorrow Don. I wont be going to the parade and I will probably stay home for the fireworks. Better to avoid the crowds. Besides both of my dogs dont like fireworks.

I was in Stuttgart a city the size of St.Louis where many WWII bombs were found during construction of new buildings.

If I really want to watch them DOn I can take a short walk over to the area they are being held at and watch them. Maybe an 8 miute walk. But I dont feel like dealing with the crowds there.

The Peoria Park District had their fireworks display tonight. I heard it but don't care to fight the people to see it.

I used to be able to see them from my house, but now they moved it to the park by the river

I am the same way Rick. I dont cre to deal with all the people that will be there. Traffic is a headache for it. And if I walk there I still have headaches from all the people in the way. The county shuts down several traffic lights in the area on the main roads and uses traffic officers to direct the traffic out of the area.

Don my communities fireworks are held behind the old police station in the field shared with an elementary school. Not even a half mile from my house. I cant see them due to a neighbors trees unless I go to the second floor and watch out a window or climb onto the roof.

When Kyle was young we would go to Galesburg's on Lake Story. They were held across from the police range. BIL was a cop so we were allowed in to watch from there.
