I'm sure some of you may have noticed now but photobucket has changed their terms.
Third party image hosting is no longer available unless you pay 400 dollars a year. This means that anyone who used them for posting on their threads won't have their images show up anymore... This will probably cause a lot of happiness.
We did get it for free, and it is their website/service so they can do what they please, but I sure don't like them now. I already switched to flickr about a year ago because of how slow photobucket because, but my old threads are all kinda useless now.
There isn't a way to edit old posts to change the links to embedded images is there? I'd like to at least try and change some for some tutorials I made and my diesel swap thread in the Bronco forum. It didn't look like the 'edit post' button was available on my older threads so I'm guess we can't do that.
If not, then I'll just have to re post some of the progress on a new post in those threads!
Yeah, there's some time limit on the Edit button. A day or so, I think.
This is why I always attach pics directly to the thread, rather than linking them to an external site.
Yeah I don't know why I didn't know we could do that until about 5 months ago or so. I started doing that with everything here since it seems a lot easier and better (due to situations like this).
I don't want to freeload too much on this site though! I should donate a little bit again so I can help out this site since it's done a bunch for me!
this is the third time in two days i have seen mention of photobucket being a fee for use site.
it is still free for me, i have used it three times so far today.
Woah, so is that a powerstroke in the picture as well?
That's a pretty cool place, hopefully someday I can take trips around and visit places like that!

this makes four times.
Yeah I'm not sure what's going on with it. I know my old threads no long post the pictures I have, and I've seen it on other threads as well. Maybe it's because I have a lot of pictures on the site?
i have close to 500 pictures and videos stored on photobucket.
every once in a while i get the go premium screen, but i just close it and load or retrieve pictures.
All the pics in my thread are gone. Well that's 170pages of worthless drivel.
That sucks. I hate websites that are all about the almighty dollar and dont give a rip about casual users who actually use them for things.
I have used Flickr for years, but now I just usually use the site photo uploader. It works pretty slick, even on the mobile.
Love the pics Glenn! Even caught a OBS in the shot, that makes every picture better. As for the other one with the dog, well I'll just leave that one alone.
