With summer temps approaching my truck is starting to have its random no cold air blowing episodes. Every time I try to go to the dealer while the issue is occurring it clears up upon arriving at the dealer. My problem is the cold air will quit blowing and I can see that my a/c pressure sensor reads between 198-240 PSI. I can see that the compressor is called to turn on for 2-3 seconds which it does then shuts off for a long period of time and continues this cycle for random periods of time. Ford has checked the pressures several days while the truck was sitting at the dealer and no issues were found. I have verified the blend door is functioning correctly, air recirc. door is working correctly, and dual climate control, max a/c VS auto function does not affect the compressor not staying engaged. I'm attaching pictures of the different PID's I have been monitoring trying to gather information of the problem while driving. Has anybody else experienced this issue or have any additional points I can monitor? *Forgot to mention driving different speeds makes no difference with the problem.
I know this is a very old thread, but did you ever figure out the problem? Mine is doing the same thing. Works fine for weeks at a time then decides to do this. Very short cycle of compressor or not at all for a few days then works great again for a while.

I ended up replacing the evap temp sensor, cut a hole in the plenum and swapped it. Then a year or so later had a leak in the evap and had that replaced.
Just a follow up, I hooked up to Forscan and the Evap. Temp. Sensor was showing -1degee Celsius and it was 90 degrees F. I replaced the sensor using a hole saw method so I didn't have to remove the dash. It works like a champ now every time!!
Thanks everyone for your help!
