What do you guys think its worth. 250, 4 speed, with a 460, rustfree and 2wd. Front doors and hood are from a different truck. Needs rear gas tank (front functional), windshield, needs rear seat redone/covered, rear door panel, dash pad, carpeting, maybe tires and brakes. That's what I know as of now. Thanks
Agreed, I see lots of Bondo in the drip rail. Plus, why are the seats two different patterns? Means one was replaced. 460 didn't come with a manual tranny till the 80's. See an MSD module on the fender which means somebody tried to band aid a goof-bagged factory system. Does it run?
I'm in Wisconsin, where rust free sheet metal is a premium. Even up here, that truck would likely be listed at $2,000 and sell for $1,000 and a push to get her going.
I was looking to possibly buy this truck off of Craigslist in Washington and the owner stated "rust free". I saw all that primer and thought the same thing (bondo). He was asking 6k plus I'd have to ship it to NJ. Thanks for all of your feedback, I have a member on here that is willing to look at it but judging from your feedback, I may just RUN. What would my budget have to be to get a rust free 78-79 all original crew cab? Does not have to be pretty but has to be Arizona "rust free" with original paint and nice patina. PS, what is the tell tale sign of bondo in the picture? Just trying to make better observations in the future.
Also, what were the motor/trans options for the 78-79 CC's. I've heard 4/4 was not available but what about A/C, cruise control ect. I've had a hell of a time finding production numbers and available options on them. Any leads on a 78-79 CC would also be greatly appreciated.
These are alot less scary.
