I would just leave the 203 T-stat in. Those are the numbers you are after anyway. Anything under 200 is just going to affect fuel mileage in a negative way from what I have read.

I ran it one year and when towing it seems to be a little high. I usually run it in the winter. I have a Driven Diesel Regulated return on the fuel system and you have to get out of the way to get to the thermostat and Bullet proof remote oil cooler with oil filter. both run right by the thermostat. The oil filter line you just have to push out of the way to get to the rear nut the fuel lines need to be disconnected and moved to get to rear nut. not the hardest thing.
