Anyone ordered a truck from South Quebec near Ottawa ? Truck has been built on 6/26 and getting anxious here !

 

I bought an F250 on May 29th in Pickering and haven't even received a VIN number as yet. I ordered a 2017 F250 Platinum, White Platinum on Brunello interior.

 

I'm not sure about the delivery timings to your location, I'm in Calgary and I ordered the same day as you (29th May), I got my VIN on June 12th and then the window sticker on June 23. I spoke to Ford Canada yesterday, they told me that the ETA at the moment is August the 7th.
I would call your dealer and ask them to find out the information.

 

No Vin ? That can't be , I ordered on June 1st and received Vin on the 7th. Maybe your dealer just didn't tell you

 

I asked 2 days ago and they said they put the order in and they haven't received anything back as yet.

They are telling me that these trucks are built in batches. A few weeks they will build XLT models, then after a few weeks they will build lariats and so on. I'm not sure if that's true.

 

Waiting for shipping just updated today. I'm in Oshawa Ontario so 18 days after Production is what I'm assuming shipping takes. I Ordered May 15th and Delievery is July 18.

 

WTF..... I ordered mine from Formula Ford. I didn't get that link as yet.

 

You picked the wrong dealer or sale rep. I go to Marigold Ford in Whitby and I get the best service. When you say link are you talking about COTUS.

What im talking about is the screen shot you sent to track your truck.

 

Ask your dealer for your VIN. Go to the webpage Ford Custom Order Tracking | ordertracking.ford.com and enter your VIN and bob's your uncle.

 

Here's a quick update ...Looks like 19 Days for shipping...will keep you posted

I guess i'm lucky because I ordered on june 2nd and the truck was built on the 26th

Btw did you checked if your build date on ETIS is the 28th ?

 

You guys are lucky to get this info. My order for an XLT was entered on 26 May. My Dealer who is also a personal friend can't get my VIN. He is also concerned about a Fleet order for multiple trucks for one of our local construction companies, no info. I'm hoping to hear my truck will arrive early Aug. Unfortunately I'll be at work and will have to wait a few weeks before I come home to see it.

 

I got my VIN number today!!! Finally. Ordered May 31st!

 

I ordered on May 26 and my truck was built on June 28. I got an ETA from Ford of July 18 but it is now slipping to August 6. When I phoned the Ford Processing Center, the girl there said that there is shortage of rail cars at the Kentucky Plant.
