Rear driveshaft slip yoke boot replacement
It's also very well covered here.
My local parts store didn't carry this, but spicer makes a universal one that works fine. Your local driveline shop will likely have it. I paid $15.40.
1. Block all the tires, when you remove the driveshaft, the Ex will want to roll away.

2. Mark your tcase/driveshaft sections with a silver sharpie.
3. Get out your 12mm hex wrench and remove the 4 bolts that hold the front of the driveshaft to the transfer case.
4. It's heavy, so support it. Loosen the smaller end of the boot to remove the front stub-shaft from the longer drive shaft (still attached to the differential) to expose the splines.
5. Remove the old boot completely, attach the new boot to the stub-shaft. If you have the band tightener tool, use it, otherwise use pliers, needle nose or MacGyver zip ties.
6. Re-grease the slip joint. Inspect u-joints as needed. If your rear pinion is leaky, chop, chop, get on it!
7. Re-attach the stub-shaft to the long driveshaft on the truck, not forgetting to put on the smaller diameter steel band first. Make sure your sharpie marks line-up.
8. Re-attach the driveshaft to the Tcase flange using 4 12mm hex bolts. You may need to turn the flange a few degrees to match up the holes. Tighten per specs or 'nice 'n tight'.
9. Un block the vehicle before driving away.
