SCT TSX tuner

Anyone replace the battery in the touch screen extreme? Mine will power up but once it gets to main screen it may or may not turn off. Sometimes it will last and sometimes it won't. When it does turn off on its own the screen fades out vs just shutting off. I contacted SCT yesterday by email and this device is no longer supported and they were no help at all. In fact they want me to purchase a new device. So basically I have a $850 paperweight. I got it back in 2011. It's not all that old. I don't feel I got my $800 out of it. I told SCT I couldn't see buying a new device at $500 then 3 years later it no longer being supported and having to buy another one. Totally unacceptable if you ask me. Anyone experienced issues with this device.

Not here but i can vouch for the handheld SCT tuner have had it for 4 years, might not be touch screen but it has never failed me yet and i think its only a couple hundred dollars.
